An exceptional corner in Berlin’s embassy quarter, not large enough to integrate a greenscape into the concept. Hence an artificial, architectural landscape composed of spatial volumes in different dimensions that are linked to each other and to a “long path”.

The building grows out of the ground in shape of a dissected spiral, rising towards the crowning cuboid of the ambassador’s residence.

In counter-rotation: The elongated spiral of the public path, which creates the shortest link between various areas of the embassy on the one hand and serve as a dignified ceremonial ramp on the other.
