The Adi Dassler Brand Centre forms central part of the “World of Sports” master plan, constituting the global headquarters of Adidas-Salomon in the Franconian town of Bad Herzogenaurach. Following the functional requirements of the concept, the design of the product presentation facility refers strongly to its topological situation, being partly inserted under the ground level.

Entrance, offices and additional facilities such as restaurant are placed within the “extroverted” sector of the building, interacting with daylight and its surrounding landscape. Behind this zone, partly acoustically and visually isolated spaces such as the multifunctional hall create an intimate and exclusive surrounding, perfectly suitable for product presentations and for the brand’s representation. The Adi Dassler Brand Center represents an open, though clearly structured and dynamic homebase for the free spirit of the Adidas brand, without forcing it into a rigid spatial guideline.
