The project proposes an enhancement of the interior spaces of a Michelin-starred restaurant and winery in Slovenia. Referencing the work of Jože Plečnik, the design develops a flexible spatial system, defined by movable columns of varying dimensions.
These elements enable the space to be continuously reconfigured, accommodating various scenarios, ranging from open and generous layouts to more intimate dining settings. The playful yet controlled use of the columns introduces a subtle variability, allowing the interior to appear slightly different with each arrangement. This lends the space a sense of ease and informality, while maintaining a clear architectural order.
Materiality plays a central role in the design. The interiors are conceived as fully clad in wood, ranging from the clad ceiling to the sliding panels set in front of the terrace doors, reinforcing spatial continuity and creating a calm, elevated ambience. A restrained palette of concrete, oakwood, leather, and glass balances warmth and refinement, resulting in an atmosphere that is sophisticated without resorting to overt minimalism.

Experience of a
place is highly
individual.
But experiences
are not independent
of the space.
The concept is complemented by a distinct colour and refined oakwood.
